Given our ever-changing environment and the need to provide customers with more self-service and information options than ever before, we’ve been working to improve our United app to make it more consistent, timely, and easier than ever for all users Information – and keep many of the same features you know and love all the time.
The app is your all-in-one travel companion
– Our redesigned app now delivers the information you need more consistently than ever, with improved navigation for a more seamless experience. The design update also complements our expanded accessibility support for screen readers.
– During your journey, our app home screen gives you quick access to important details by opening the most useful and relevant information for all users, whether you are logged in or not. When it’s time to travel, check in from the home screen and see real-time updates. See what amenities are available on your flight, and where you rank on upgrades and waitlists. At the airport, explore the interactive airport map to find a United Club location near you and stay up to date with your flight status with our push notifications delivered straight to your inbox.
Manage your MileagePlus® account
– Sign in to MileagePlus and check out our reimagined My Account experience. You can also earn miles through the MileagePlus program and use those miles to book award travel in the app.
Search flights and book travel
– Search for flights in our global network. If you find one that suits you, book in the app with money, award miles or even your e-travel voucher.
Manage your bookings easily in the app
– View and change your seat assignment or enhance your travel experience by adding Economy Plus® seats, Premier Access®, United Club℠ passes, travel packages and more. You can also change, cancel or rebook your flight directly in the app through the My Trips section.
Continue to use the app in the air
– Watch United Private Screening’s TV shows and movies on selected flights on your own device. Also, track the status of your checked bags and see which gate you arrive at after landing.
